Will a ProDENT camera work with my dental software?

Almost certainly — we support 70 imaging and practice-management platforms across Windows and Mac, via our capture software and TWAIN driver. Not sure? Email cs@prodentshop.com with your software name and version and we will confirm before you buy.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes — see ProDENT Mac Capture.

Which camera should I choose in my country?

See the models & software by country guide. Australia has its own TGA-registered model, the PD780AU.

Can my clinic pay by invoice or purchase order?

Yes — email admin@prodentshop.com with your clinic name and model/quantity; we prepare a quote and invoice. 20+ unit orders ship free automatically. See bulk orders.

What about duties and taxes on international orders?

Canada: any duties charged on delivery are reimbursed in full. Australia: GST is collected at checkout — nothing more to pay on delivery. Elsewhere: ask us first at cs@prodentshop.com.

What warranty and support do I get?

One-year warranty with US-based phone and email support, plus scheduled remote sessions. Old camera (any brand)? See the trade-in program.

1 How to install ProDENT Intraoral Camera PD740 

ProDENT PD740 is a plug and play intraoral camera, no driver needed.

system will recognize this camera automatically.

 

2 How do I know PD740 works properly in windows operation system?

when Plug in, there will be notice by windows.

Go to Device manager, Cameras or Imaging Device , there will be a “ProDENT Camera”.

Some computers will recognize this camera as "USB video device",

 

 

3 Why my camera recognized as "usb video device"

 

Right click on usb video device, uninstall the driver. Plug out and plug in, it will be "ProDENT Camera".
If camerea is still not recognized as "USB video device",Contact us for hardware update

 

 

4 How the capture button work with my dental software

  • No Benzene, thinner, Dicide or glutderaldihyde can be used when wipe the camera.
  • No liquid spraying on the head of intraoral camera and USB intraoral camera cables.
  • No liquid running into the inside of intraoral camera.
