An Open Letter to Our Users and Partners
For more than 12 years, we have focused on one highly specialized field: dental imaging, with a particular dedication to intraoral cameras.
Within the broader medical imaging landscape, the intraoral camera is a relatively young and uniquely specialized product category. Originating in the 1990s, it was initially driven by the need for clinical documentation and insurance claims. Over time, as technology advanced, its role expanded significantly—becoming an essential tool for doctor–patient communication, teledentistry, and at-home patient monitoring.
These use cases represent distinctive demands specific to dentistry. Unlike other imaging industries, dental imaging must simultaneously meet clinical accuracy, visual clarity for patient understanding, ergonomic requirements for daily chairside use, and seamless integration into dental workflows. There is no direct equivalent in other industries.
As a result, developing intraoral cameras presents substantial technical challenges.
Off-the-shelf components are rarely sufficient—nearly every critical component must be custom-designed. At the same time, this remains a highly specialized market with limited scale, making long-term R&D both difficult and essential.
Over the past decade, we have invested heavily in testing, iteration, and engineering trade-offs to strike the right balance between performance, reliability, usability, and sustainability—all with a single goal: delivering products that truly meet the needs of dental professionals.
Our commitment extends well beyond hardware.
We have dedicated significant resources to software compatibility, achieving integration with nearly all major dental imaging and practice management systems worldwide, including many regional and non-English platforms. In addition to Windows support, we have acquired and developed native macOS software to ensure that users across all operating systems enjoy a smooth and consistent experience.
Building on our long-standing expertise in imaging, we have also expanded our portfolio to include new diagnostic and screening solutions, such as:
-
Caries detection
-
Orthodontic pre-screening and remote orthodontic follow-up
-
Early screening for oral cancer
-
Skin and scalp imaging systems
In parallel, we actively collaborate with AI technology partners to explore AI-assisted image analysis and decision support, helping clinicians gain more value from the images they already capture.
Everything we do is guided by a single principle:
to make imaging a practical, reliable extension of the clinician—not a burden.
We believe that meaningful innovation in healthcare requires patience, focus, and long-term commitment. By continuing to invest in this specialized field, we aim to support dentists with tools they can trust—tools that improve communication, efficiency, and ultimately patient care.
Thank you to our users, partners, and the global dental community for your continued trust and support.
We remain committed to this field, and to building solutions that matter.
